The Inside Salesperson should have great hunting capabilities and strategic operating skills, constantly looking out for prospective deals and new business opportunities. The inside salesperson shall have the ability to build relationships, establish trust, innovative vision and foresight to anticipate and create new opportunities and have the ability to grow into a leadership role in building a world-class Inside Sales Team. Responsibilities:

We are selling to logistics service providers and shippers. The Inside Sales Person strives to understand the customer’s organizational structure and work to achieve alignment with all stakeholders. Through the use of sales tools, take full responsibility for accurate forecasting, regular monthly revenue delivery, and facilitation of sales enablement to implement account and business plans.

The ideal candidate is first and foremost, a seller, who is motivated to drive customer success, and win targeted accounts. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets
  • Design an organizational sales structure to scale effectively
  • Increase the level of ownership and standards within the team
  • Develop and nurture a sales pipeline including sales-driven lead generation initiatives
  • Manage key sales conversions
  • Accurately maintain a sales forecast and reporting
  • Effectively run sales meetings, performance inspections, and coaching sessions
  • Identify risks and develop long term plans
  • Install a sense of urgency to the team
  • Promote loyal attitude towards the company
  • Constantly innovate and effectively implement change
  • Develop and execute strong and creative sales strategies
  • Build long-lasting C/VP-level relationships with clients
  • Engage and develop channel partners
  • Exceptionally deliver sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Monitor competition to consistently present Tive as the leader in the space

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years in inside and enterprise SaaS sales
  • Hands-on experience with selling to 3PLs, Freight-Forwarders, and Shippers is a preference but not required
  • Self-starter with a “hunter” mentality
  • Previous sales process & methodology training
  • High self-confidence with an insatiable appetite to learn and grow
  • Work alongside our team in our Cambridge, MA Office
