About the Role:

Our growing startup is searching for a Fulfilment Specialist to help fill sales orders and provide reliable on-time delivery of products. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment, get exposure to all aspects of the business, and be able to define your own future path within Tive.


  • Use and maintain our well-documented shipping and receiving SOP
  • Use a computer to see open sales orders and inventory
  • Use FedEx Ship Manager (or UPS, DHL) to prepare packing lists, shipping labels, import/export documents, and schedule pickups
  • Manage and organize stockroom and perform material handling
  • Pick technology products to ship
  • Reach out to customers to confirm address and order details
  • Track shipments and resolve delays with carriers (e.g. FedEx)
  • Receive incoming/returned products and unpack, verify, and refurbish
  • Work with our team on improving processes, tools, documentation; and contribute feedback and feature requests based on customer interactions and insights
  • Maintain stock in remote depots by communicating with remote partners
  • Maintain localized policies and procedures for compliance with export regulations
  • Carry out assignments as requested by management

Skill Requirements:

  • Athletic; able to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lb (2-35 lb normally)
  • Able to commute to our Sullivan Square office
  • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive start-up environment
  • Handle high volume of work
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to use multiple systems and reference material
  • Interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, management of all levels, internal departments
  • Good communication skills and professional presence over email
  • Organization and time management skills, and reliable work ethic
  • Experience to oversee & coordinate overseas product depots
  • Familiarity, and interest to stay up to date with export procedures
  • Experience with computers, business equipment, and technology
  • Ability to use productivity software like Google Docs, Hubspot, ZenDesk
  • Experience with shipping & customs forms (esp. to Mexico) desirable to maintain our supply chain

  • Type: Intern, Part-time, Full-Time, Temporary, or Contract
  • Pay: $14-$17, 1st shift, occasional OT available; more commensurate with customs experience
